LAKES & RIVERS: BARREL-AGED IMPERIAL SCHWARZBIER

IMPERIAL SCHWARZBIER

Our friends from ShawneeCraft Brewing Co. stopped by to brew this strong, dark lager. We used premium malt and hops imported from Germany to create our twist on the classic Schwarzbier style. After fermentation, we aged this beer in bourbon and smoked whiskey barrels, adding a soft oak and vanilla finish.
